The Project Management Institute (PMI) offers the internationally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification test. It evaluates a person's project management knowledge, abilities, and competences using the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guide's industry best practices.

Exam Format:

•     There are 200 multiple-choice questions in the computer-based (CBT) PMP exam.
•         25 of the 200 pretest questions are not included in the total score. The goal of these inquiries is research and development.
•         A psychometric analysis is used to establish the passing score once the remaining 175 questions have been assessed.

Exam Content:

Exam Duration:

• Ø 4 hours and 240 minutes are allotted to answering the 200 questions on the PMP exam.
• Ø It's advised to provide enough time to go over and double-check responses in order to guarantee correctness.

Exam Eligibility:

• Ø Applicants must fulfill certain educational and work experience standards established by PMI in order to be eligible for the PMP test.
• Ø Those holding a four-year degree (bachelor's or worldwide equivalent) must have at least 3,500 hours of project leadership and direction experience in addition to 3 years (36 months) of project management experience.
• Ø A minimum of 5 years (60 months) of project management experience and 7,500 hours of managing and directing projects are needed for those without a four-year degree.
